Three Pretty Thanksgiving Table Decor Ideas

Thanksgiving can be a little overwhelming if you’re hosting, but it doesn’t have to be! Here are three pretty Thanksgiving table decor ideas that you can do ahead of time, so you can check that off your list and enjoy the special day with friends and family! 

Thanksgiving Table Decor #1. Green and White Table 

This first table uses a gorgeous green and white block print tablecloth from Atosii. The craftsmanship is amazing and the price is fantastic. Check out all of their beautiful table linens here. I kept it simple with brown rattan chargers and French countryside plates from Mikasa. I love the plates because they can be used year-round and are a nice heavy weight. They have a beautiful scalloped edge and are just gorgeous by themselves, or with a fun salad plate or bowl on top of the dinner plate. The napkins are from Hen House Linens. If you don’t know about Hen House go check out their website. They have an amazing selection of table linens and gift items. The napkins are absolutely gorgeous and have the prettiest ruffle hem. They are a nice heavy cotton and wash and wear really well.

To dress up the table a bit, I decided to use our Reed and Barton Burgundy silver and pretty crystal water goblets that my parents gave us. I used some mini white pumpkins, pinecones, magnolia stems and brass candlesticks along the center of the table.  The flower arrangement was a mix of white and coral roses and some greens set in an ironstone soup tureen. Have you heard of these wax candles that are battery operated? They are so pretty and so fun. They even come with a remote. I have loved them!

Thanksgiving Table Decor Idea #2. Woodland Spode

This table started with a simple ivory colored cotton tablecloth that I’ve had for years. As a collector of all things tabletop, I started asking for Spode Delamere and Woodland Spode 10 or 12 years ago. I’ve amassed quite a collection and love using it all the time, but especially during the fall! Woodland Spode has pretty much any type of hunting dog and “thing you can hunt” on a plate, bowl, cup or serving piece. Ha! As a dog lover, the hunting dog plates are my favorite.

Lucy Grymes makes gorgeous paper placemats. Her green and white ones are the perfect backdrop for my Spode plates.  I used chocolate brown linen napkins, but you could use brown, ivory or green, and they would all look perfect.

The tortoise glasses are so fun and also work well as vases. My roses lasted for over 2 weeks, so I used the old orange ones mixed with some pretty coral roses, St. John’s Wort and Green Dianthus Balls for the 3 floral arrangements. The hurricanes are so versatile, affordable and look great with simple ivory pillar candles.

Thanksgiving Table Decor Idea #3. Spode Indian Tree

Do you have some special silver, linens or china that has been passed down through your family? These absolutely gorgeous Indian Tree plates belong to my grandmother, then my parents and now me. They are my dad‘s favorite and I absolutely love them! They look great by themselves, but also pair well with so many of my other patterns. 

For this table, I again used an ivory colored tablecloth. Here’s a similar one. I used gold chargers I’ve had for years. You can get them on Amazon, but can also find them at your local Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or even the dollar store!  The ivory linen napkins have been some of my favorites for years and years! We registered for them 26 years ago and they still look good as new! Side note… In case you are nervous about using cloth napkins, this stain remover gets out everything!  Our wedding silver and pretty water goblets complete the table.

I used the same flower arrangement as I used in my second table with pretty coral and orange roses. The beautiful silver candlesticks were a wedding gift and look perfect for the center of the table.

You might not collect china like me, but my guess is you have some pretty plates, table linens, glasses and candlesticks in a closet or pantry somewhere:).
