My name is Julie and for as long as I can remember I have loved pretty things. Pretty flowers, plates, napkins, accessories…I also love setting pretty tables and having people in our home.

My heart for serving, encouraging others and hospitality led me to start sharing my thoughts here.

For almost 20 years I was a stay at home mom to our girls. They were the sweetest years and I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything. Our girls are now both in college.

My husband and I recently moved to the Denver area and all of the sudden I have the time, energy and desire to do something new.

As I’m figuring out my new normal, I’m realizing how much I truly enjoy creating. Creating a pretty table. Finding the perfect mix of fabrics. Baking some yummy treats for guests. Mixing different types of flowers and greenery to create a beautiful arrangement.

On this blog you’ll find information about things I love as well as some tips, tricks and a little encouragement for your heart. I post about tablescapes I’ve created. I share with you some of my favorite ways to arrange flowers. You’ll find some of my family’s favorite- and easy- recipes as well. When something I write about doesn’t quite fit into one of those categories, you’ll find it in Lifestyle posts. I might share with you some fun new outfits I’ve found, something God is teaching me, a new favorite book I’ve read, or a great sale to shop.

As I am leaning into this new phase of empty nesting, I am really enjoying this creative outlet and hope you enjoy it as well.
