My hope is that through my pretty tablescapes you’ll find creative and easy designs that provide inspiration and guidance as you create memories around the table. Some of my favorite memories were made around a dining room table. I think about all of the laughter, sweet moments and love shared by family and friends and it makes me smile.
Setting a pretty tablescape is more than just putting china, napkins and flowers together. It’s about creating an environment where people feel the warmth and love in your home. It’s about being intentional in making others feel seen, loved and celebrated. When you take the time to prepare ahead of time, you can be present and enjoy time with your guests instead of feeling rushed and anxious.
Pretty tablescapes don’t have to be time consuming or expensive. Some of my favorite pieces are passed down from family, or are treasures I’ve found at antique malls and thrift stores. I’ve used paper placemats… and linen ones. I’ve bought sheets from HomeGoods to use as tablecloths, and have tablecloths that are family heirlooms and are almost 100 years old. Some of my glasses and plates were purchased for $1.00 each at thrift stores, and then I also have beautiful Reed and Barton Burgundy silver and china as well. Mixing high and low pieces makes for an interesting, unexpected table and is just fun to put together!
My hope is that through my website you’ll find creative arrangements, pretty tablescapes and easy designs that provide inspiration and guidance. Here’s to creating unforgettable moments with your family and friends that will be cherished forever.
