There’s something about a fresh flower arrangement that instantly makes a space feel more welcoming and alive. I share a bunch of different floral arrangement ideas and table settings on my blog. One of my favorite combinations is a mix of different orange and pink hues. For the arrangement I’m sharing today, I combined coral roses, orange roses, light pink spray roses, green dianthus, and coral St. John’s wort. It’s cheerful, vibrant, and a perfect combination to be used year round. This arrangement was created for a few tables I wrote about in this blog post sharing some of my favorite Thanksgiving table ideas. However, it would pretty on a spring or summer table as well! Here are all the details about the pretty orange floral design.
Floral Design Must Haves
To start, I chose a simple vase that let the colors shine without competing for attention. I found the vase at our local Homegoods, but here are some other vases I really like. Before I make any arrangement, I start with a clean vase and add water and the flower food provided. It’s important to cut your flowers before arranging them. I cut mine at an angle to encourage them to drink lots of water!
The arrangement started by building a base with the orange roses. Roses at Costco are always a great price and fantastic quality. They had the prettiest bunch of 18 orange roses, so I had a lot to work with. Trader Joe’s is my favorite place to buy all other flowers. The rest of the flowers came from TJ’s. After adding the orange roses, I layered in the coral roses, alternating the colors to give the arrangement dimension and movement. Pink spray roses look great with the coral and orange. I placed them in the open spots. Next came the green dianthus. It’s fun texture and bright green hue add so much interest. Finally, I tucked in sprigs of coral St. John’s wort for that perfect pop of detail. The berries bring in a warm, natural element that ties the whole arrangement together. For one of the tables I created 2 smaller arrangements using just the roses and I love how it filled out the table.
How to Care for Your Flowers
To help your arrangement last as long as possible, a little daily care goes a long way. Be sure to change out the water every day or two to keep it fresh and clear of bacteria. If you have extra flower food, you can add that to the clean water. You can also trim the stems every couple of days to help them absorb water more easily. Sometimes I do this, sometimes, I don’t! I like to lightly mist the flowers with a water bottle each morning—this helps keep them hydrated and looking vibrant. With just a few minutes of care, you can enjoy your beautiful arrangement for days to come.

Even though the arrangements I put together were used for fall table settings, the orange floral design is perfect for spring and summer gatherings, a centerpiece for a cheerful brunch table, or simply as a way to brighten up your kitchen counter. It’s proof that a few thoughtfully chosen blooms can make a big impact.
