Red, White and Blue Christmas Table

This gorgeous red, white and blue Christmas table includes a stunning tablecloth from Katherine Young Home, my favorite blue and white porcelain, Reed and Barton silver and the prettiest red and white rose arrangement.

Katherine Young Home has some of the most beautiful block print tablecloths and tabletop decor. When I saw this gorgeous red and white Christmas Rose tablecloth, I knew I wanted it. It is beautiful for Christmas, but could also be used year round!

Classic Christmas Linens

There’s just something magical about red and white linens at Christmas. This block-print tablecloth from Katherine Young is even more beautiful in person and is perfect for the holidays. I’ve used it in both casual and more dressed-up settings, and it never disappoints. The red tones pair beautifully with greenery, candlelight, and my favorite blue and white pieces. I always cover my table with a felt table cover before adding the tablecloth. It protects the table from heat, scratches and wear. I used simple linen napkins from Sferra that I’ve had for years. They work perfectly with the red in the tablecloth.

Blue and White Spode

My love for blue and white runs deep, and I love using it at Christmas. Spode Blue Italian plates look absolutely stunning against the red linens, adding the perfect mix of timeless charm and festive color. I layered them on simple green chargers to bring in an extra touch of Christmas without taking away from the rest of the table. Deep red juice glasses with simple wine glasses finish the look in the easiest, most elegant way. Blue and white works year-round, but there’s something especially lovely about the contrast during the holiday season.

Easy Flower Arrangements

The floral arrangements for this table couldn’t be simpler, yet they make such a beautiful statement. I filled my favorite blue and white ginger jars with a mix of red and white roses, hydrangeas, and a few sprigs of greenery. Each arrangement takes just a handful of stems, and the ginger jars do so much of the visual work. I added a few smaller ginger jars down the center of the table with some red candles to create a warm, welcoming setting.

If you love the idea of using blue and white at Christmastime, here’s a link to another blue and white table a did this year and a few green and blue tables I put together last year.

I hope you are enjoying decorating for the season and that you are able to have some special gatherings with friends and family around your table!

Grateful for you,

Julie
