Blue and White Spode Christmas
Blue and White has always been my favorite color combination. When my husband and I got engaged 27 years ago we- well let’s be honest- I:) registered for both blue and white everyday place settings and blue and white formal china as well! Our Spode Blue Italian is what we use every day and it’s been so special using it for parties, teas and many family meals over the years. When Spode introduced these salad plates with the sweetest Christmas tree on them, I knew I wanted to set some different blue and white tables using them. Here’s a fun table for four using all blue and white.

I’ve loved our Spode Blue Italian dishes for over two decades, and they are still my everyday favorites. Adding the Christmas tree salad plates on top brings the sweetest seasonal touch without overwhelming the table. Their blue accents play beautifully with the block-print tablecloth and create a simple yet festive holiday look. I used brown woven chargers as a base and love the way they look with the blue and white.
Blue and White Linens
This blue and white block‑print Cotton Print Club tablecloth has been on my basement round table since summer and continues to be one of my favorites. The price is fantastic, the quality is amazing, and it works beautifully all year long. I paired it with simple white linen napkins embroidered with a one‑letter monogram and tied each one with a blue velvet ribbon for a soft, classic touch.
The Simple Centerpiece

A round table with a blue and white floral tablecloth displays a festive centerpiece of pine branches, gold pinecones, silver ornaments, and three cone-shaped Christmas trees. Patterned pillows decorate the chairs.
A festive table centerpiece featuring three gold bottle brush Christmas trees, pinecones, silver baubles, and green pine branches, surrounded by blue and white plates with a tree design and clear glassware.
To keep things simple and long‑lasting, I used a faux greenery wreath and tucked three festive bottle‑brush trees in the center. Gold pinecones and a shatter‑proof ornament garland from Walmart add a little shimmer without any maintenance. I just wove the garland around the wreath and tucked the string under the branches so you couldn’t see it. Then I took the gold pinecones and placed them throughout until I liked the way it looked! This centerpiece can stay in place all season and coordinates beautifully with the blue and white tones of the table.
Last year I put together a fun blue and green table that you can see here! I plan on sharing more blue and white favorites, but in the meantime, you can see my favorite Amazon Blue and White finds here, and my favorites on my LTK here!
I hope this table gives you some inspiration to create something similar in your home.
Grateful for you,
Julie
