Colorful Summer Table with Blue and White Linens
Y’all know that blue and white is my favorite color combination. You will find it all over our home, in my closet and on the pretty tables I create. This table is one of my recent favorites—it feels fresh and fun but still timeless. It’s perfect for summer gatherings, casual dinners, or just a pretty night at home. I combined grocery store flowers with blue and white linens from Amazon to make this colorful summer table. Here’s how I put it together!
Colorful Flower Arrangement

At the center of the table is a bright and happy grocery store flower arrangement. I used a pre-made mix of spray roses, dianthus, ranunculus, asters, and other flowers in a mix of pinks, purples, and greens to bring in a lot of color and texture. I added a bunch of sunflowers to make the arrangement pop. The flowers make the table feel fun and welcoming without needing much else. Easy peasy! To keep my flowers looking their best, I typically switch out the water daily and add flower food every couple of days. To make your arrangement last, be sure to remove the leaves below the water line to keep bacteria from forming.

I have a lot of blue and white table linens…some people collect art, I collect linens and tabletop treasures. Ha! This pretty and simple block print design of the napkins and placemats is a favorite of mine. I bought 4 matching pillows in that print for my basement that I love! The napkins and placemats are such a great backdrop for everything from simple white plates, like I used on this table, to more intricately designed plates with a lot of color. I think it’s fun to match the placemats and napkins and that’s what I did here.

You can find great deals on caterer plates like the ones I use on this table. I kept the place settings simple and affordable: white caterer plates layered with darling bamboo melamine plates from Two’s Company on Amazon. I absolutely love these! They’re lightweight, dishwasher-safe, and bring in the perfect touch of summer charm. I have used the bamboo plates a bunch. They also come in pink and light blue! The bamboo flatware is a favorite of mine. It’s currently on sale, too. I hand wash mine and it has lasted many years. I have shared a bunch of blue and white tables recently. You can create completely different looks using the same color palette. My mind is always thinking up the next table using blue and white :)
