Blue and White Spring Table

There is something timeless about blue and white. If you have followed me for any length of time, you know it is my favorite color combination! No matter the season or occasion, it always feels warm and welcoming. When I set this blue and white spring table, I kept coming back to the phrase “blue and white is always right.” It’s one of those color combinations that never goes out of style and works beautifully for everything from Easter brunch to bridal showers and spring gatherings with friends.

For this table, I layered some of my favorite pieces that combine classic patterns, natural textures, and fresh spring flowers to create a table that feels both relaxed and special at the same time.

Blue and White Linens from Cotton Print Club

The foundation of this table is the beautiful blue and white block print tablecloth and napkins from Cotton Print Club. I have the same print in a round tablecloth and have literally used it for every season. It is so versatile and so beautiful. If you love classic Southern style as much as I do, you know that block print linens are always a good idea. You can find all of my blue and white tabletop favorites on Amazon here.

The soft blue floral pattern instantly brightens the table and feels especially perfect for spring entertaining, Easter brunch, or even a bridal shower luncheon. I love how the napkins echo the same color palette as the tablecloth while adding a slightly different print for interest.

Layering these linens with woven rattan placemats adds warmth and texture, which keeps the table from feeling too formal while still looking elegant.

Blue and White Plates and Charming S&P Shakers

One of my favorite parts of this table setting is the blue and white melamine plates. They have such a fun design and are incredibly versatile. Because they’re melamine, they’re also practical and easy to use all year long for casual lunches, outdoor entertaining, and family gatherings. I opted for the salad plates and used some light blue dinner plates underneath.

For a touch of personality, I added the adorable blue and white Staffordshire dog salt and pepper shakers. They bring just the right amount of charm to the table and feel perfectly at home with the blue and white theme. They make the perfect gift as well!

I used beautiful blue and white ginger jars from The Enchanted Home, which add height and another layer of classic chinoiserie style to the table. As of this writing, they are out of stock, but hopefully they will be re-stocked soon.

Trader Joe’s Floral Centerpiece

The centerpiece brings everything together and adds the perfect pop of color to the table. You know I have the sweetest husband around who puts up with my flower addiction… Pretty much every Monday I head to Trader Joe’s with the excitement of a kid at Christmas just waiting to pick out my flowers for the week!

I arranged white hydrangeas, coral garden roses, light pink spray roses, and delicate stems of purple Veronica in a simple glass vase. The soft coral and pink tones look gorgeous against the blue and white linens and create a fresh, cheerful feel that is ideal for spring gatherings, Easter celebrations, and bridal showers.

Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers to use when entertaining because they add fullness and elegance without requiring a complicated arrangement.

A Classic Table for Any Occasion

This table is a perfect example of why I love decorating with blue and white. It’s timeless, versatile, and always feels welcoming.

Whether you’re hosting Easter brunch, a bridal shower, a spring luncheon, or simply gathering friends around the table, this classic color palette makes entertaining feel easy and beautiful.

And truly… blue and white is always right.

Grateful for you,

Julie
