Who doesn’t love a table filled with color!? This Mexican Fiesta table instantly makes everyone feel welcome with it’s festive setup. With a mix of bold florals, vibrant peppers, and playful details, this table is perfect for a Cinco de Mayo celebration, a summer gathering, or a fun night on the patio with friends.
We had neighbors over for a Mexican dinner last night and I wanted this table to feel relaxed, happy, and full of personality. The goal is to create something that invites guests to sit down, linger, and enjoy.

I started with a classic blue and white check tablecloth, which is always a favorite of mine. It adds that casual, timeless foundation while still letting all the bright colors shine. Each place setting is layered with beautiful Vietri plates featuring a bold green pattern that feels fresh and perfect for this theme. The natural woven hyacinth chargers bring in warmth and texture, which helps balance all of the bright colors. They are so inexpensive and versatile. I use them all the time! I paired them with bamboo flatware which creates an easy, relaxed feel that works so well for outdoor or casual entertaining.
The deep cobalt blue glasses add just the right pop of contrast and tie everything together beautifully. And of course, the mini sombreros are such a fun and unexpected touch—they instantly make each place setting feel festive and special. I ended up adding matching wine glasses as well. A Colorful Pepper and Vibrant Flower Centerpiece

The centerpiece is where this table really comes to life. I combined a bright floral arrangement filled with sunflowers, red gerbera daisies , and pops of purple statice with colorful bell peppers scattered throughout the table. The mini peppers are attached to the arrangement by adding a toothpick to one end. I think they are so fun! The plastic flower container (with built in holes for easy flower placement!) makes it so simple to create centerpieces that are low enough that you can see across the table. For a really big impact, use 2, 3 or 4 to create a long centerpiece…stunning!
This mix keeps the arrangement feeling playful and approachable rather than too formal. I love using fruits and vegetables in centerpieces—they add texture, color, and a little bit of surprise that always makes guests smile.
The Finishing Touches

The red and white print napkins from Hen House Linens add another layer of color and pattern, and I love how they complement the tablecloth without competing with it.
