Beautiful Blue and Orange Table
Do you have a few color combinations that you go back to time and time again? Blue and white is my absolute favorite. However, I love throwing in a few other colors and that’s what I did with this table. This beautiful blue and orange table (plus some hot pink!) was put together using our Lenox wedding china and some fun antique finds. Let me show you how to create something similar in your home!
Table planning
When I found these pretty salad plates at an antique mall, I knew I wanted them to come home with me. I had some money that I received as a birthday gift that I was holding onto- just waiting for something that caught my eye.
The dishes would be perfect with our Lenox Federal Cobalt wedding china, so that was my starting point. I already had white linen napkins with a beautiful royal blue monogram that would be perfect for the table.
When we put together our wedding registry over 25 years ago, most of what I picked was blue and white. (I say “I” because my husband couldn’t care less about anything related to our home as long as it looks nice. Big win for me!!) I am happy to say I still love all of my blue and white pieces and use all of them to this day!

- Felt table pad
- White tablecloth
- Navy blue chargers
- Lenox dinner plates
- Salad plates
- Le Perle Stainless
- Monogrammed napkins
- Cobalt blue glasses

- Cordless brass table lamps

Blue and Orange Table steps
Setting a pretty table is so easy! Just follow these steps.
- Put your felt table pad on your table. This truly protects your table from heat, water and scratches. They are a must have in my opinion.
- Iron your tablecloth and put it on the table.
- Set down your chargers and top them with the dinner plate and the salad plate.
- Put your napkin to the left of the plates.
- Arrange your silverware.
- Set down your glasses.
- Put your flowers, vases, and lamps down the center of the table. I wrote about some simple but beautiful flower arrangements using hydrangeas here. I loved pulling out the pink and the orange from the plates and really feel like the flowers give this table a wow factor.
