Bright and Happy Christmas Table

The happy table includes Rosanne Beck Placemats, LB Originals monogrammed napkins and Spode Blue Italian.
This bright and happy Christmas table has adorable Christmas placemats, sparkling shatterproof ornaments and includes every color under the sun.
I have the most fun getting out all of my Christmas tabletop decor and putting together different tables!! This one might be my favorite so far. I bought bright ornament placemats from Rosanne Beck and knew I wanted to incorporate colorful ornaments in my tablescape. I wrote about my love of paper placemats in an earlier post :) Michael’s had huge tubes of 100 shatterproof ornaments on sale for $12 so I bought a tube of bright ones knowing I would use them a bunch.
The placemats have literally every color in them so I decided to pull out the blue and use our everyday Spode Blue Italian for my plates. I used the Spode bowls and put ornaments in them. I also used ornaments in the simple flower arrangement- fun and unexpected!
Hydrangea and Ornament Arrangement

Easy, and FUN! Christmas arrangement
Items Needed for Arrangement
You literally only need 3 things to make this fun arrangement!
- One glass cylinder vase. Mine is 5 inches by 5 inches. You can buy these at at craft stores, most grocery stores, or even find them at your local thrift store!
- One bunch of 3 hydrangeas. Mine are from Trader Joe’s but just about any grocery store carries hydrangeas.
- Shatterproof Christmas ornaments. I bought a huge sleeve of 100 colorful ornaments from Michael’s on sale for about $15
Arrangement Steps
- If I have time I put the hydrangea heads in a big bowl of water for an hour or more before I arrange them.
- Cut your hydrangeas at an angle with a sharp knife.
- Put your ornaments in your vase. Fill to the top with your favorite colors knowing you might have to take a few out when you add the water.
- Mix your flower food and water in a measuring cup and add enough of the mixture to the vase that the hydrangeas can drink, but not so much that the ornaments fall out.
- Add you hydrangeas and voila! Simple and easy arrangement.
Christmas Table Steps
- Set your placemats on the table
- Add plates and napkins. I used my favorite Spode Blue Italian plates and monogrammed napkins from LB Originals. Love these napkins because they are so versatile and launder really well!
- Place your silverware and glasses. I used my Burgundy silver for some extra sparkle.
- Add your flowers and extra decor. I used bottlebrush trees from Target and bowls of colorful shatterproof ornaments from Michaels.
So easy and fun!!
I love how this bright and happy Christmas table turned out! In fact, I loved it so much I decided to use the same table scape for a ladies lunch:)
