Elegant Peony, Tulip and Ranunculus Floral Centerpiece

This elegant floral centerpiece is happy, colorful and is so easy to put together. Let me show you how!

Inspiration

Even though this centerpiece is used on a Christmas table, I love that you can use it year round! I started thinking about doing a colorful Christmas table instead of a more traditional one that is red, green and white. When I went to a local florist and saw these gorgeous pink peonies, I knew I wanted to use them. A little red and green was tucked in, but the peonies and hydrangea were the show stoppers! My Spode Blue Italian and green and white check easy care tablecloth are the perfect backdrop for the pretty flowers. wanted to add some blue to the arrangement as well.

Elegant Floral Centerpiece Items Needed

I picked a total of 6 different flowers/greens to give the arrangement depth and balance. Here’s what I chose:

~5 pink peonies

~1 large blue hydrangea

~Red tulips- I used 7

~A bunch of white ranunculus

~Red spray roses

~My base was 4 stems of Snow on The Mountain (but any greenery will work great!)

Step by Step Centerpiece Instructions

~My arrangement started with a a exquisite cut crystal vase my mom gave me from a trip to Czechoslovakia

~I added 4 stems of “Snow on the Mountain” but any greenery will work well as your base

~Then I placed 1 large blue hydrangea in the center

~I put 4 pink peonies around the greenery and 1 in the middle

~Then I tucked in 7 red tulips

~Next came a bunch of white ranunculus which I love!!!

~Finishing touches included a bunch of red spray roses tucked in along the bottom of the arrangement

Elegant Floral Centerpiece

This is one of my favorite floral arrangements to date. I love the heavy crystal vase set on a silver tray that makes it pop. The brightly colored flowers in my dining room and beautifully set table for my extended family make me smile. Tonight my parents will be in town, sitting at my dining room table and we will be enjoying a meal and sweet family time together…I can’t wait!
