Mother’s Day Gifts that Mom Really Wants!

Mother’s Day is a time to shower the moms in our lives with love and appreciation. This year, give your mom gifts she really wants and show her you care!

First of all, if you are a mom, I just want to tell you that you have the most important job in the whole wide world! Caring for your children is truly a selfless act of love that impacts your kids their entire life!! Second of all, this post might be one you pass along to your kids and husband…or you can just let them know what you are buying yourself! Ha!

Mother’s Day Gifts that are Free

Whether you have a lot of money to spend or not, one of the most important things you can do for your mom is write her a handwritten letter. I wrote about the beauty of handwritten letters in a previous blog post, and I truly believe they make an impact that will last forever!

Take some time to think about the different things your mom has done that have meant so much to you and tell her those things. It will warm her heart and make her feel loved.

Another fun idea is to plan a family day for mom. Take her on a neat hike, walk, to her favorite lunch spot or maybe do a scavenger hunt with notes of encouragement around your house. Spending quality time with family is a gift in and of itself!

Personalized Mother’s Day Gifts

If you love personalized gifts, here are some great options for you. I’ve written about my friend Sarah, who owns Tewlip Designs, an embroidery business in Texas. She has lots of pretty bags, hats, and table linens. Plus, she is just the sweetest so you can know you are buying from a small business with a big heart. My dear friend, Erin, makes the prettiest paper! I have been buying her notecards, notepads and stickers for almost 20 years. She’s another kind, caring and amazing small business owner who you will feel really good supporting!

If you want to give mom some new wine glasses, a tennis/pickle ball bag, scalloped napkins, charcuterie board or pretty much anything personalized, Mark and Graham is a great place to shop.

Gifts around $100-200

Here are some things I found that I know I would love that are all $100-$200.

I love Julie Vos. She makes beautiful jewelry that lasts for years and it is reasonably priced. After looking through her website here are my favorites that are all $200 or less.

Gifts to give When Dad is Involved;)

Loop Dad in the mix and get mom a really nice gift!

I love David Yurman and Roberto Coin because they create timeless classics that truly last forever. I bought my first Yurman pieces in college and still wear them to this day and I am almost 50 years old!  My husband gave me a few Roberto coin necklaces years ago and I still love them. They look good as new!
