Easy Baked Cheese Grits
These easy baked cheese grits only require 10 minutes prep time and are absolutely delicious!

What Are Grits?
Here’s what The Food Network had to say…
“Grits are made from ground corn, typically from less sweet, starchy varieties often referred to as dent corn. Grits can be made from either yellow or white corn and are often labeled accordingly.”
Growing up in Texas, I have always enjoyed grits. I like them however they are made! Just plain with butter, with cheese, add some green chiles…they are just so yummy to me!!
Easy Company Recipe
You know how you’re never supposed to try a new recipe when you have company? Well, I decided to try these for the first time with some new friends. Ha! I threw together these cheese grits last minute before having some ladies over for brunch. I looked at a bunch of different recipes and decided I would just make my own. The result was delicious and super easy to prepare. To go with them, I made my mother-in-laws spinach quiche recipe, sausage in crescent rolls and some yummy banana crumb bread. We had berries, coffee and mimosas. Such a delicious meal and a sweet time with new friends!
The grits were so yummy that I made them again a week later and served them with grilled pork tenderloin and roasted asparagus. YUM!
