How to Style a Beautiful Table with a Blue and White Pottery Barn Tablecloth- 2 Ways

These two lovely tables use the same blue and white Pottery Barn tablecloth, grocery stores flowers and were put together in less than 30 minutes!
Blue and White Love
I love blue and white. Like really love blue and white. I registered 25 years ago for blue and white formal china. Blue and white Spode for our everyday china. Blue glasses. And pillows… You get the idea.
My sweet husband, who almost never has an opinion, recently said to me quite sarcastically,
“ Do you think we need some more blue and white!?”
I told him we will be adding some green and blue pillows to the mix 😂
Well, when I saw this tablecloth at a wedding shower I knew I wanted one. Santa was good to me and brought it last Christmas. Good news for you, Pottery Barn still has it in stock.
Classic Blue and White Table

The first blue and white table I styled with white caterer plates and linen Amazon napkins. Simple yet classy. I used these chargers from Amazon. I’ve had them for several years and still use them all the time! The white linen napkins with light navy blue trim are so pretty and can be dressed up or down. The Caterer Plates are so versatile, very reasonably priced, and can be used by themselves or with colorful salad plates stacked on top.
Our grocery stores is owned by Kroger so I love having all of the same things I was used to buying in Texas right around the corner from our house in Denver. So far, at least twice a month they have 1 dozen roses for only $6.99!!!! I get so happy when I walk in to find them on sale.
A lot of the time I will leave my fern (or whatever plant I have own my table) as the centerpiece for the table scape. It adds green and interest without spending any extra money!
For this table I just used simple orange roses in little blue and white porcelain jars. Add some old barley twist candlesticks and you have a table easy enough for a weeknight meal yet pretty enough for company :)
Blue and Yellow Table
The second design I used those same white plates, Pottery Barn yellow floral plates and Pottery Barn buttery yellow linen napkins. I registered at Pottery Barn 25 years ago! These napkins are timeless and look just as good as they did way back then.
The grocery store flowers are just a simple bouquet that I separated into 2 bunches. The blue wine glasses are from Pier One Imports (RIP!). Here some similar ones from Target

The tablecloth is a beautiful backdrop for so many different settings.
No doubt you will see it again!
I’m thinking brown and blue maybe 🤔
Grateful for you!💙🤍

Beautiful table!
Thank you so much! I appreciate you!
