Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2024 Favorites
I don’t know about you, but I love having nice things, yet I hate paying full price for them! Every year I get so excited when the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale rolls around. However, it can be overwhelming knowing where to even begin when you start shopping online. It’s embarrassing to admit this, but I have literally spent hours scrolling through the sale in years past.
So, what is the anniversary sale and why should you get excited about it?
Great question! What is different about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is that you are able to buy NEW fall and winter items at a big discount before they go back to regular price when the sale ends. You aren’t buying the store’s summer items that just didn’t sell. You are buying things you can wear in the fall or give as Christmas gifts, hint hint.
If you buy online and pick up in store, you can shop in your pjs and avoid the craziness of the mall! Plus, a lot of Nordstrom stores have curbside pickup! You just park in a specified parking space and they bring everything to your car! So great!
My favorite sale picks
Here are my favorite sale pics in the categories of women’s clothing, women’s coats, women’s shoes, women’s denim, jewelry and accessories, workout wear and loungewear/home.
Denim
The denim in the sale is so good every year. You can always expect Wit and Wisdom as it is a Nordstrom favorite. If you haven’t tried this brand, it is a great price point and very flattering. There’s lots of stretch in the denim so I usually go down 1 size. Some people stick to their regular size so refer to the chart before ordering.
Mother denim is amazing. It’s pricey, but totally worth the investment! I own the Hustler Jeans in 2 different washes and love them. Just enough stretch and very comfortable.
My younger daughter and I both own the cropped version of the wide legged Paige Anessa Jean. We wear them all the time! They fit true to size and you feel like you’re wearing pajamas!!
Madewell has great denim options! These cropped wide legged jeans remind me of some of my other go-to jeans. I love the front pocket and higher waist.
Coats
Anyone else LOVING all of the red clothing right now!!?? Red is such a pretty color and these red coats are amazing. Everyone should have a classic trench coat and there are so many pretty options in the sale. I also love the plaid and houndstooth options!
Loungewear and Home
Nordstrom has some version of these pajamas every year and they are great!! This year they have long pants, shorts and nightgowns! They would make a great Christmas gift!!
We have several Barefoot Dreams blankets and they are the ones we go to time and time again when we want to be warm and snuggly!! They wash well and last for years. They also make a fantastic gift.
Towels get dingy so quickly. I’m excited for the towel set on the sale.
Jewelry and Accessories
So many pretty things it’s hard to just choose a handful!!
Let’s start with the big ticket item…
I have a Michele watch and it is absolutely gorgeous!! My husband bought it for me for our 20th wedding anniversary. Nordstrom always has a Michele watch on the sale and I love this year’s choice. It matches every style and is classic and timeless. If you have a big birthday or anniversary coming up, I highly recommend this watch!!
The duffel bag is darling and almost looks designer. It’s a great price and would make a great gift.
As I get older I’m trying to protect myself from the sun. This hat is so cute and is one I know I’ll wear again and again!
Each year during the sale I do lots of Christmas shopping!! These jewelry pieces are so pretty and perfect for gifts for my daughters!!
Boots and Shoes
Some of my favorite boots and shoes have come from the Nordstrom AS. My Blondo waterproof boots have lasted years!! I’m going to get some brown ones this year. I also think the Chelsea boots are amazing!
Slides/mules have been a thing for a while and the trend is still going strong. My oldest daughter asked for the Steve Madden ones for work and I’m getting the cute red ones!
Tennis Shoes/Sneakers
Some of my favorite sneakers I already own are on the sale this year! My P448 John sneakers are probably my favorites. They have such a fun look and are actually comfortable. Ha! I just can’t wear uncomfortable shoes these days… Another one of my go to sneakers is my new balance. They have white in the sale this year and I’m sure they will sell out fast!
On cloud makes supportive and comfortable running shoes. Here are some crowd favorites!
In my opinion, HOKA’s are the most comfortable running/walking shoe. I was hesitant to get them at first because of the height, but once my podiatrist (yes I’m old and have a podiatrist 😫) recommended them, I don’t know that I’ll ever go back! I love the color options and this year’s sale!
Clothing
If you have followed me for long, you know that I love traditional, classic style. Here are a few of my favorites from the sale.
This striped button down is something that my daughter asked for. I love it as well! You can’t go wrong with a classic blue and white stripe. The dresses I picked would be perfect for work, as a wedding guest dress, or anytime you want a classic style and feel like dressing up!
There are so many sweaters to choose from. I picked a few of my favorites to share with you!!
Workout/Athleisure
There are so many great options for workout clothing. It was hard to pick just a few but here are my favorites!
I’m super picky about leggings and the Zella leggings are so flattering and comfortable. They aren’t too tight and look great on!
The Spanx skirt is something that was in the sale last year. I bought it and have loved it. It’s a great length, looks super cute on and runs tts. I wear it to play tennis and just running errands.
Every year I buy a Zella sweatshirt. I love the cropped length!! This year my girls are getting one, too.
My oldest daughter asked for the Free People shorts and the I am excited about the Sweaty Betty pink shorts!
